Inaugural Annual Concertina Young Musicians' Concert

On 3 April 2007 the inaugural annual Concertina Young Musicians' Concert was held at the Royal Academy of Music in London. 150 elderly people were treated to free tickets for an outstanding concert by the international award winning pianist Helene Tysman whose programme included pieces by Beethoven, Chopin and Ravel.

The beautiful Duke's Hall provided a splendid backdrop to this extraordinarily talented pianist. A profit of over £4,800 was made for the Trust on tickets sales, the post-concert auction and sales of art at the reception as well as donations and sponsorship. A real triumph in every way.
